Creating an interview

When creating an interview there are many aspects to be considered so that you are able to look professional and get the best out of the person you are interviewing. For this you first need to find the best location so that it can be engaging and interesting instead of a plain background. Also when considering locations you want to find an area where there is minimum distractions so there are no interruptions. To reduce distractions and interruptions when listening to the person you are interviewing it is best to nod because there is no audio interference and it shows to the person you are interested motivating them to continue on giving information. It is also good to keep the person comfortable because you will be able to get a good amount of information otherwise they could be straight to the point and may not elaborate. To do this you must be able to keep eye contact with the interviewee and make sure they are not looking at the camera. When it comes to more technical side of this it is good to make sure the settings are correct so that you can get a good focus on the interviewee and more blur on the background. Another factor in this is to make sure the interviewee is not taking up the whole screen and instead should be in thirds of the screen. One of the last things is the 180 degree rule which means you can only show 1 side this is important to keep an understanding on position of both the interviewer and the interviewee.
