College news production idea

Today we discussed an idea for our college news production. In our groups we decided what we could do to keep viewers entertained and make the idea stand out to current shows. We have decided to make the set like a chat show however the work and the way everything is presented is unprofessional as a deliberate joke. the whole show is very similar to in conversation with meets The day today. In this we will give out incorrect information to make the host look stupid however will be corrected to give the right news. The whole show is satirical and a comedic twist on news shows that is why this idea stands out. Another joke we would like to add is that the presenter is incapable and is easily influenced so that when it comes to interviews he can incorrectly pronounce words and names. However there is still a lot to discuss on what we would doing certain segments although this is an idea I would like to develop on with the group.

Date: 31/10/17 Today I worked on ideas about college TV this had to based about news with the theme of new years. So for this I have successfully made 3 ideas/ mind maps for this. The first idea consisted of reflection as so much has happened in the past year. This links to the idea of new years as it links to the past and reflecting on what we have done. In this I mentioned how some things should be presented and deeper meanings within simple aspects. For the second idea it involved change this idea occurred as many people make new years resolutions to try and follow. This showed more of an idea of mystery as we do not know what is to come. Carousel week 4/ week 5

Process and Methods: This week we worked with fashion which involved design and creation. For the first part we had to experiment with how colour on paper would look on fabric. For this we worked with colours red, blue, black, green, yellow and orange. We painted these colours onto paper in the shape of squares and used a machine to put them onto fabric. When we undergoed this process we noticed that the colours would appear a lot brighter than it was on the paper this helped us later on. Next we were asked to make a design to colour in and put on a fabric. To start off I drew my design onto a small piece of A5 paper to later recreate onto A3 and paint in to make the design more bold. Once I finished my design I remade it onto A3 and later used the paints to colour the page.
